Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the PeelPals mobile application and website. Please read them carefully before using the service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the PeelPalsmobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms apply to all users of the App. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Service Description

PeelPals is a mobile application that enables users to:

  • Upload a selfie or photograph to create personalized AI-generated digital sticker packs.
  • Receive up to 30 unique stickers per pack across customizable themes.
  • Export sticker packs to WhatsApp, Telegram, and other messaging platforms.
  • Earn and spend credits for sticker generation.
  • Refer friends in exchange for bonus credits.

The AI generation is powered by fal.ai (gpt-image-2). Sticker quality and content are subject to AI model capabilities and may vary.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 years old in the European Economic Area) to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

If you are between 13 and 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you may only use the App with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

4. Accounts & Anonymous Identification

PeelPals does not require traditional account registration. Instead, the App automatically generates an anonymous Install ID for each device installation. This ID is used to:

  • Track your credit balance and sticker pack history.
  • Enforce free-tier generation limits.
  • Associate referral bonuses with your device.

Your Install ID is stored securely on your device. If you uninstall and reinstall the App, a new Install ID is generated and prior credits may not be recoverable. You are responsible for maintaining access to your device.

5. Credits, Subscriptions & Payments

5.1 Credit System

PeelPals uses a credit-based system for sticker generation. Credits can be obtained through:

  • Welcome bonus: 50 credits upon first app launch.
  • Monthly subscription: A recurring monthly allowance of credits (see 5.3).
  • Extra credit packs: One-time credit purchases (see 5.4).
  • Referral program: Bonus credits when you invite friends who use the App.
  • Watching rewarded ads: Earn credits by viewing optional advertisements.

5.2 Generation Costs

  • Standard Pack: 50 credits per 30-sticker pack.
  • Super Pack (higher quality): 250 credits per 30-sticker pack.

5.3 Subscriptions (Auto-Renewable)

PeelPals offers optional auto-renewable monthly subscriptions. Each subscription tier grants a fixed amount of credits at the start of every billing period. Key terms:

  • Monthly renewal: Your chosen plan renews automatically each month and your credit allowance is refreshed to the plan amount.
  • No rollover: Unused subscription credits do not carry over to the next billing period — they reset at each renewal.
  • Auto-renewal & cancellation: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
  • Payment: Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase and at each renewal.

5.4 Extra Credit Packs (One-Time)

If your credits run out, you may purchase additional one-time credit packs.

  • Credit packs are a one-time, non-recurring purchase — they are not a subscription.
  • Purchased credit-pack credits are added to your balance and do not expire, including across subscription renewals. (This differs from subscription credits, which reset monthly.)
  • All credits are non-transferable between devices.

5.5 Purchases & Billing

All in-app purchases — subscriptions and credit packs — are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and managed by RevenueCat. By making a purchase, you also agree to the applicable App Store or Play Store terms.

  • All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law.
  • We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable advance notice.

5.6 Refunds

For refund requests, contact the platform from which you made the purchase (Apple or Google). We are unable to process refunds directly. For in-app credit issues due to technical errors, contact us at hello@peelpals.online.

6. User Content & Uploaded Photos

When you upload a photo to generate stickers, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are the rightful owner of the photo or have obtained all necessary consents to use it.
  • The photo does not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
  • The photo does not contain illegal content, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
  • You have the consent of any person depicted in the photo (other than yourself).

By uploading a photo, you grant PeelPals a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to process the image solely for the purpose of generating your stickers. We do not claim ownership of your photos.

You are solely responsible for all content you upload. PeelPals is not liable for any user-generated content.

7. AI-Generated Content

Stickers generated by the App are created using artificial intelligence:

  • AI-generated output may not always perfectly resemble you or meet your expectations. Results depend on photo quality, lighting, and AI model performance.
  • You are granted a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the generated stickers for personal, non-commercial messaging purposes.
  • You may not use AI-generated stickers for commercial purposes, to create deepfakes, to impersonate others, or to generate content that is defamatory, obscene, or illegal.
  • PeelPals reserves the right to add watermarks to stickers generated on the free tier.
  • We may review reported content and remove stickers that violate these Terms.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the App to:

  • Generate, upload, or distribute illegal, obscene, pornographic, defamatory, or hateful content.
  • Upload photos of other individuals without their explicit consent.
  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the App.
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to generate stickers in bulk.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
  • Sell, trade, or transfer credits or generated stickers to third parties.
  • Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities in the App for unauthorized credit gain.
  • Use the App in a way that violates any applicable local, national, or international law.

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate termination of your access to the App and forfeiture of unused credits.

9. Third-Party Platform Integrations

The App enables export of sticker packs to third-party messaging platforms including WhatsApp and Telegram. By using these export features:

  • You agree to comply with the respective platform's terms of service (WhatsApp Terms, Telegram Terms).
  • PeelPals is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in partnership with WhatsApp, Telegram, or Meta. These are independent services.
  • For Telegram sticker pack creation, our integrated bot service may process your sticker files to create a Telegram sticker set. This requires you to initiate interaction with the PeelPals Telegram Bot.
  • We are not responsible for how third-party platforms handle sticker packs once exported.

10. Intellectual Property

Our IP: The PeelPals App, brand, logo, website, and all underlying software, algorithms, and code are the exclusive property of PeelPals or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Your IP: You retain full ownership of the photos you upload. The AI-generated stickers derived from your photos are licensed to you for personal use as described in Section 7.

Feedback: If you submit suggestions or feedback about the App, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use that feedback for any purpose without obligation to you.

11. Free Tier & Limitations

Free (non-paying) users of the App are subject to the following limitations:

  • Access to one free sticker theme ("Classic"). All other themes require credits or a paid tier.
  • Generated stickers may include a PeelPals watermark.
  • Standard quality generation only (Super quality requires additional credits).
  • A limited number of stickers are viewable before purchase or ad viewing.

We reserve the right to modify free tier limits at any time with reasonable advance notice.

12. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

  • We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.
  • AI-generated sticker quality is not guaranteed. Results vary based on photo quality and AI model performance.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, PeelPals shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
  • Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PeelPalsand its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the App.
  • Content you upload or generate using the App.
  • Your violation of these Terms.
  • Your violation of any third party's rights.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the App ceases immediately.
  • Unused credits are forfeited (except where required by applicable law).
  • Sticker files associated with your Install ID may be deleted.

You may stop using the App at any time. To request deletion of your data, contact us at hello@peelpals.online.

15. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App will first be attempted to be resolved amicably by contacting us at hello@peelpals.online.

If amicable resolution is not achieved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the competent courts of the jurisdiction wherePeelPals is established.

16. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notification. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
